Benefits and how to use
What it is, how to take it, and what to check first
What it is
A safoof — a traditional herbal powder, measured by the spoon and usually taken with milk or water. Made by Qarshi. Supplied in the 60g pack.
It is sold as support for semen quality. That is how the manufacturer positions it — it is a traditional preparation, not a licensed medicine, and it is not intended to diagnose, treat or cure any condition.
Composition
The full ingredient list is printed on the pack. We do not reproduce ingredient tables we have not verified against the manufacturer's own labelling — for a traditional preparation, an inaccurate list is worse than none, because it can hide an allergen. If you need to check an ingredient before ordering, contact us and we will read it off the pack.
How to take it
- Follow the dose printed on the pack, or the one advised by a qualified hakeem or doctor. Doses differ between formulations and we do not restate them here.
- Do not exceed the stated dose. Traditional preparations can contain potent and dose-sensitive ingredients, and more is not better.
- Take it with water or milk as the pack directs, generally after food.
- Keep the pack. It carries the dose, the batch number and the expiry date.
Who should not take it, and what to check first
- Tell your doctor you are taking this if you are on any prescription medication. Herbal preparations can interact with prescribed drugs — blood thinners and blood-pressure, diabetes and heart medicines are the ones that matter most — and your doctor cannot account for something they do not know about.
- Speak to a doctor before starting if you have a heart, liver or kidney condition, or diabetes.
- Not intended for children. Not for use during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
- Stop and seek advice if you notice any reaction after starting it.
- Traditional preparations may contain animal-derived ingredients. If that matters to you, check the pack or ask us before ordering.
Storage
Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, with the lid or pack closed. Keep out of reach of children. Do not use past the expiry date printed on the pack.
Important
This is a traditional herbal preparation, not a licensed medicine. It is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease. Nothing on this page is medical advice. If you have a persistent health concern, see a qualified doctor — a traditional preparation is not a substitute for a diagnosis, and delaying one is the real risk.
Frequently asked questions
Frequently asked questions
How do I take this?
Follow the dose printed on the pack, or the one your hakeem or doctor gives you. We deliberately do not restate doses here — they differ between formulations, and the pack is the authority. Do not exceed it.
What are the ingredients?
The full list is printed on the pack. We do not publish ingredient tables we have not checked against the manufacturer's own labelling — for herbal preparations, an inaccurate list can hide an allergen, which is worse than no list at all. Contact us if you need an ingredient checked before ordering and we will read it off the pack.
Can I take this with my prescription medicine?
Ask your doctor first, and tell them exactly what you are taking. Herbal preparations can interact with prescribed medicines — particularly blood thinners and treatments for blood pressure, diabetes and heart conditions. This is not a question a product page can answer for you.
Is this a medicine?
No. It is a traditional herbal preparation, not a licensed medicine, and it is not intended to diagnose, treat or cure any condition. If you have a persistent health concern, see a qualified doctor rather than self-treating.
How long does the 60g pack last?
That depends on the dose you have been advised to take, which is on the pack. Work it out from the daily dose — at one dose a day the 60g pack lasts considerably longer than at three, and it is worth checking before you order the smaller size.
Is this original stock?
Yes. We buy only through authorised distributors, so this is genuine Qarshi stock and it ships sealed in its original manufacturer packaging. We do not sell loose, repackaged or open-market goods. Check the batch number and expiry printed on the pack when it arrives.
Will the packaging show what is inside?
No. Orders ship in a plain, unbranded outer box. No product name appears on the label or on the courier slip.
Can I pay cash on delivery?
Yes. You pay the courier when the parcel reaches you. Orders over Rs. 2,000 ship free anywhere in Pakistan.
