Condom Size Guide: How to Measure and Choose the Right Fit in Pakistan
A tight condom is more likely to break; a loose one is more likely to slip. Both are fixable.

Most "wrong size" complaints are actually a wrong-width problem, not a wrong-length one. Here is how to measure and what nominal width means on the box.
"What size condom should I buy" is a common search, and most of the answers online are vague because the honest one depends on a measurement most people have never taken. Here is the short version, then the reasoning.
Measure width, not length
Condoms are manufactured and sized by nominal width — the width of the condom when it's laid flat, which corresponds to roughly two-thirds of the circumference (girth), not the length. Length is nearly irrelevant: standard condoms are made long enough to fit almost anyone, and the rolled-down length that matters is usually well within a few centimetres either way. Girth is what actually determines whether a condom stays put and feels secure.
To get a rough number, wrap a soft measuring tape (or a strip of paper, then measure the paper) around the shaft at its widest point while erect, and divide the circumference by two. That's your target nominal width in millimetres.
What's actually on the shelf in Pakistan
Most condom brands sold locally — Josh, Touch, Sathi, DO, Klimax — sit in a standard 52-56mm nominal width band and don't print separate size tiers the way some imported brands do. That's not a flaw; it just means the width variance between "standard" packs from different brands is smaller than shoppers expect, and the bigger differences between brands are in texture, lubrication and thickness, not fit.
Signs the fit is actually wrong
- Slipping or feeling loose: usually too wide for you — try a snugger-fit or ultra-thin contoured pack, which tend to hug closer.
- Pinching along the shaft, not just discomfort at the base: usually too narrow — size up if the brand offers a larger option, or try a different brand's standard width.
- Breaking specifically at the tip or seam under tension: more often a lubrication problem than a size problem — see our guide on water-based vs silicone lubricants.
If you've measured and are still unsure, buying a small mixed pack across two brands before committing to a bulk order is the cheapest way to test fit without waste.
