What it is
A Pulse ultra-thin latex condom, engineered thinner than a standard one to allow more sensation and body heat through. Thinner is not weaker: these are tested to the same standards as every other condom on the shelf.

How to use it
- Open the foil carefully by hand. Thin latex is less forgiving of a fingernail than standard latex.
- Pinch the tip, roll to the base, and check it is fully unrolled.
- Use plenty of water-based lubricant. Friction is what tears a thin condom, and lubricant is what removes it.
- Hold the base on withdrawal.
Safety and storage
Use a new condom for every act, and check the expiry date on the foil before use. Open the foil at the notch with your fingers — teeth, scissors and rings are how most tear before they are even on.
Use only water-based lubricant. Oil-based products — petroleum jelly, baby oil, massage oil, lotion, most creams — weaken latex within minutes and are a common reason a condom fails without either partner noticing.
Store somewhere cool and dry, away from direct sunlight. A wallet is the worst place to keep one: heat and friction damage the latex long before the printed expiry date.
Stop and see a doctor if either partner has itching, burning or a rash after use, which can indicate a latex allergy.

Not when used properly. They pass the same electronic and burst testing as standard condoms. What does raise the risk is opening the foil with teeth or nails, and going without lubricant — both matter more on thin latex.
Do they protect as well as standard condoms?
Yes. Thickness is not what provides protection — an intact barrier is, and these are tested to the same standard.
How do I know if the size is right?
A condom that fits should unroll to the base without strain and stay put without gripping painfully. Too tight is likelier to break; too loose can slip off. If a brand has never felt right, change the size before you change the feature — a small pack is a cheap way to test.
How long do these keep?
Every pack is printed with an expiry date, usually three to five years out from manufacture. We ship recently-dated stock, and the date is on the foil as well as the outer pack so you can check it yourself.
